Kahdzbar’s Pit of Hell

I don’t know what possessed me to do this. It’s a drawing of the ill-fated Dwarf Fortress I ran a series about a while back. To compare, here’s a screenshot:

I took some liberties with the shapes of the dwarves, and screwed with the base design to make it a bit more realistic-ish.

    No, that’s just the boundaries of my stockpile.

    Wait, you forgot the stone stockpile, the project to end all projects!

    That said, I think (with my skills from one (1) game) that a mason/stonecrafter would have been very useful. Needs more doors.

    I’d love to use this map in a side quest for a D&D campaign. The adventurers come across a dreary abandoned fort, find dead bodies and wonder what could have gone wrong. Upon further investigation, they realize it was nothing but serious incompetence that lead to the dwarves downfall…
